Our waffle towels are breathable, lightweight and highly absorbent. They are made from 100% cotton from Kerala, India, which has a long tradition of producing towels.

Breathable, durable, and highly absorbent. Our waffle towels are woven on traditional handlooms by our partner collective in Kerala, India, which works with local weaving cooperatives. It is certified by the Fair Trade Forum of India, the country network of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) and WFTO-Asia. The products are made from 100% cotton and eco-conscious dyes. It takes about half a day to one day to complete one item. The traditional techniques have been handed down from generation to generation.

Each piece is hand-woven by artisan weavers, so please allow for minor variations in size and pattern.

Care Instructions

To maintain the magic and full beauty of your Pelagona towels, we recommend machine washing on delicate with a mild detergent and cold water. Tumble dry on low. Iron as cotton. Do not bleach. Also avoid bleaching agents and personal care products that contain benzoyl peroxide or alpha hydroxy acids. For any loose threads, do not pull. Trim carefully with scissors.

Some shrinkage will occur after washing. (The warmer the water, the more shrinkage. About 20% of shrinkage after washing with 60°C)

Shipping & Returns

Free delivery within the EU for orders over EUR 200, worldwide for orders over EUR 495.

You can return or exchange your Pelagona piece within 14 days after receiving the items (excl. personalised, custom order and sales items).
