Made from natural materials by female artisans in Cambodia

The Dara Tray with its unique pattern in dark blue (almost black) will be the eye-catcher of your home.

Handmade Round Rattan Tray Cambodia Star Pattern Female WeaversThe trays are handmade by Manava, a collective working with female artisans in Cambodia. Their products are made from natural rattan. It takes one artisan about 3-4 days to finish one tray.

The black “star pattern” was inspired by the Cambodian Kbach Chan Flower symbol. I use the trays to serve food or drinks and as decor on my coffee table. They are also perfect in the hallway for your bits and bobs.

A large number of Cambodian women living in villages are unemployed. Even if they have a job, their income is less than USD 2.50 per day. As most families have between 3-5 children, it makes it almost impossible for them to survive.

Your purchase provides these talented Cambodian artisans with a sustainable income, empowers their creativity and offers them a safe working environment, where their views and opinions matter.

All items are handmade and unique – therefore, slight variations may occur.
