Made from natural materials by female artisans in Cambodia
Beachhouse, Nordic or natural chic – our Dara Rectangular Tray is the perfect match for all of them.
The trays are handmade by Manava, a collective working with female artisans in Cambodia. Their products are made from natural rattan. It takes one artisan about 3-5 days to finish one tray and the traditional techniques have been handed down from generation to generation.
Use these trays with the subtle geometric pattern to serve food or drinks or as decor on your coffee table. They are also perfect in the hallway for your bits and bobs.
A large number of Cambodian women living in villages are unemployed. Even if they have a job, their income is less than USD 2.50 per day. As most families have between 3-5 children, it makes it almost impossible for them to survive.
Your purchase provides these talented Cambodian artisans with a sustainable income, empowers their creativity and offers them a safe working environment, where their views and opinions matter.
All items are handmade and unique – therefore, slight variations may occur.
The Dara Trays come in three sizes:
Small: L c. 30 cm, W c. 20 cm, H c. 5 cm
Medium: L c. 39 cm, W c. 25 cm, H c. 5 cm
Large: L c. 50 cm, W c. 30 cm, H c. 5 cm

Country of Origin: Cambodia
The colour stays longest if you keep the trays out of direct sunlight.
