Our Amara silk shawl. “Amara” means “eternal” in Hindi and, just like its name and pattern, we hope that you will cherish it for a long time and that it will make you feel connected to the personal stories woven into it.
The intricate colourful embroidery on blush pink make it a piece to stand out. It is the perfect accessory for a silk gown or dress. Alternatively, you can casually wear it with jeans and a simple T-shirt.
The Amara shawl is made of 100% silk and was designed and co-created with our partner atelier in West Bengal, India, which has been collaborating with local embroidery artisans for over 140 years. Each shawl is handmade and fully hand-embroidered with techniques and patterns which have been passed down for generations. A gem in its own right, it takes at least 45 days to make one Amara shawl.
Every item is unique. The Amara shawl is made-to-order. Hence, this item is Final Sale. The process time for the shawl is 8-10 weeks from the date of order.
Our shawls are available all year.
